Lol, I'm always telling my partner to stop swearing n cafes as we are Brits in NZ and he's got a very loud voice. F*** and C*** are not appreciated as lunch time fare.
When my daughter was about 14 at school in NZ her friend group complained about swearing. Her best friend was telling me all this in the car but proudly said, "I told them she has an English mum and it's normal for them to swear all the time."
When my daughter was small and in the car seat while I was driving someone must have annoyed me as a tiny voice from the back of the car said, "He's a wanker isn't he mummy:"
