To avoid the tedium
Of the nine-to-five drive
In a worker bee hive

To give me my freedium
From labor and stress
And corporate dress

Because I really needium
A break from my role
But not on the dole

For I am so greedium
For claps and good words
I need to be heard

I want you to heedium
The lessons I’ve learned
So you don’t get burned

Quite slow, not at speedium
I’m new at this game
Inexperience I’ll blame

I came onto Medium to write leadership articles and ended up writing some comic verse instead.
