Hi Shannon, I do think that life begins at conception but only if it continues to be viable. Ectopic pregnancy, not viable. Empty sac pregnancy, not viable. I am not at all religious and I’m pro choice. I’m too old to conceive but when I was younger, I wouldn’t have thought twice about having an abortion. After I had my daughter an abortion became, in my mind, killing another Rebecca. But that is me, not other people. It’s a very difficult topic. Any sort of bullying or shaming of women for their choices is disgusting. In my experience people who hold themselves up as religious and shame others are horrible people, betraying what they say they believe in. I could go on for a lot longer but I’ll stop there. I’m sorry you had to go through the experience you described.
